Job Description:

Our prestigious law firm based near Altrincham is seeking a talented Legal Cashier. This is a temporary part-time role requiring the candidate to work 3 days per week onsite. The hourly pay is between £15.00 and £17.00 DOE. Responsibilities include processing client payments and receipts, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with bank reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with legal accounting regulations. Candidates must have previous experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar finance role, a strong understanding of legal accounting principles, and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Job Responsibility:

Processing client payments and receipts
Maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with bank reconciliations
Ensuring compliance with legal accounting regulations
Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar finance role
A strong understanding of legal accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team
