Legal Cashier

• Monitoring and allocating receipts across main Client and Office bank accounts
• Making online payments via Faster Payments, CHAPS, and SWIFT, following the approval matrix
• Setting up and modifying recurring transactions while addressing queries related to our 800+ deputy client bank accounts
• Liaising with banks to resolve any payment issues
• Managing deposits and withdrawals from external deposit accounts
• Monitoring and applying charges on credit and debit cards
• Recording and banking cheques into appropriate accounts
• Checking property completion statements against client ledgers
• Processing bills and monitoring clients' residual balances
• Posting and paying staff expenses and supplier ledger entries
• Taking on additional tasks as needed

• Previous experience in legal cashiering - this is essential
• Strong organisational skills and a knack for maintaining documentation electronically
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• familiarity with SOS Connect is a bonus
• A keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
