As a Legal Cashier, you will work alongside a friendly, supportive team, focusing on a variety of cashiering duties that will keep your days dynamic and engaging.
Job Responsibility:
Monitoring and allocating receipts across main Client and Office bank accounts
Making online payments via Faster Payments, CHAPS, and SWIFT, following the approval matrix
Setting up and modifying recurring transactions while addressing queries related to our 800+ deputy client bank accounts
Liaising with banks to resolve any payment issues
Managing deposits and withdrawals from external deposit accounts
Monitoring and applying charges on credit and debit cards
Recording and banking cheques into appropriate accounts
Checking property completion statements against client ledgers
Processing bills and monitoring clients' residual balances
Posting and paying staff expenses and supplier ledger entries
Taking on additional tasks as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience in legal cashiering - this is essential
Strong organisational skills and a knack for maintaining documentation electronically
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
familiarity with SOS Connect is a bonus
A keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
