Job Description:

We are a well-established and forward-thinking law firm based in Wrexham, North Wales, looking to expand our friendly and supportive cashiering team with the addition of an experienced Legal Cashier. In this office-based role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and compliant handling of all financial transactions. It’s a great opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of experience in legal cashiering who’s ready to take the next step in a collaborative and professional environment.

Job Responsibility:

Process client and office account transactions in line with SRA regulations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Handle payments, receipts, and transfers while following AML procedures
Work with fee earners and support staff to resolve queries
Uphold internal financial controls and procedures

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Legal Cashier in a law firm (minimum 1–2 years)
Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules
Proficiency in legal accounts software (experience with Solicitors Own Software is a plus)
Strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills
Proactive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Nice to have:

Proficiency in legal accounts software (experience with Solicitors Own Software is a plus)
