Job Responsibility:
Take ownership of billing for a designated group of attorneys
Manage the full eBilling lifecycle—submitting invoices, monitoring rejections, coordinating collections, and producing reporting
Prepare and analyze ad hoc billing reports
Spot opportunities to streamline billing workflows
Serve as a go‑to resource for attorneys and clients by answering billing questions and resolving issues
Maintain clear, well‑organized billing records
Communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, vendors, and clients
Ensure billing systems and practices align with internal standards, client requirements, and industry expectations
Assist with retrieving and distributing billing documentation
Handle sensitive financial information with discretion
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field—or equivalent hands‑on experience
At least 5 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or collections, ideally within a law firm or another client‑focused professional services environment
Strong people and communication skills
Solid technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), plus experience working with eBilling and accounting systems
The ability to stay organized, juggle multiple priorities, and keep projects moving
A self‑starter mindset
A track record of building trusted, professional relationships
