A respected Denver-based law firm is seeking a 5 plus years' experienced Transactional & Real Estate Legal Assistant to support a growing practice. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive, highly organized legal support professional who excels in a fast-paced environment, anticipates attorney needs, and is committed to delivering exceptional client service. This role will support attorneys and paralegals on a range of sophisticated matters, including commercial real estate transactions, acquisitions and dispositions, financing transactions, leasing, corporate governance, and general business matters.
Job Responsibility
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, conference calls, closings, and other transactional events
Prepare, revise, proofread, and finalize correspondence, agreements, closing documents, and entity formation materials
Format and edit complex documents in Microsoft Word, including redlines, comparisons, styles, and tables of contents
Assist with client intake, new matter setup, and conflict check processes
Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files
Coordinate due diligence materials, including corporate records, good standing certificates, UCC searches, title commitments, surveys, and zoning reports
Support attorneys and paralegals with real estate, finance, leasing, and corporate transactions
Prepare signature packets, DocuSign envelopes, closing binders, and post-closing documents
File and record documents with Secretaries of State, county offices, and other governmental agencies
Draft and coordinate outgoing correspondence, deliveries, and client communications
Help manage attorney email inboxes and assist with workflow prioritization
Support monthly billing processes, including pre-bill review, edits, and deadline coordination
Prepare PowerPoint presentations and other client-facing materials
Coordinate travel, meetings, and conference logistics as needed
Communicate professionally with clients, lenders, title companies, opposing counsel, and government agencies
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of recent legal administrative experience supporting attorneys in a transactional, corporate, finance, or commercial real estate practice
Demonstrated experience with commercial real estate transactions and entity formation
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with attorneys, staff, clients, and external partners.
At least 5 years of legal assistant experience, with recent work supporting transactional, corporate, finance, or commercial real estate attorneys.
Hands-on background assisting with commercial real estate matters, including deal documentation, due diligence, and closing coordination.
Experience preparing entity formation and related corporate governance materials.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Clear and effective communication skills when working with attorneys, clients, external partners, and public agencies.
Proven attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality legal and client-facing documents.
