Job Description:

Robert Half is partnering with a law firm in the Greater Seattle Area to identify a Legal Assistant. This position is contract with potential for extension or conversion into a permanent role. Responsibilities include providing litigation support, e-filing, managing deadlines, trial preparation, and collaboration with attorneys. The role offers $25-32 per hour and benefits.

Job Responsibility:

Provide litigation support to attorneys, including e-filing, drafting correspondence, and preparing shell documents
Manage docketing tasks and ensure deadlines are met accurately and efficiently
Support trial preparation activities, including assembling trial binders and other necessary materials
Collaborate with attorneys to organize and maintain case files using document management systems
Coordinate with multiple attorneys to streamline workflows and maintain organization
Monitor deadlines and ensure all legal obligations are met promptly
Collaborate effectively with legal teams and other departments to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation legal assistant or paralegal
Proven experience with docketing and managing legal deadlines
Strong E-filing experience
