Mid-sized law firm located in Westchester, NY is seeking a Legal Assistant to support its thriving Commercial Real Estate practice group. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of prior law firm experience and strong working knowledge of commercial real estate transaction processes, including closings, due diligence, title, surveys, financing, leasing, and post-closing follow-up. Job duties include preparing and revising contracts, leases, closing documents, financing documents, entity documents, assist with commercial real estate closings, and perfom administrative duties (open client matters, processing time entries, managing attorney calendars, etc.). 5+ years of prior law firm experience supporting real estate, transactional, finance, corporate, land use, or related practice areas
Paralegal Certificate and/or bachelor's degree
Strong working knowledge of commercial real estate transaction processes, including closings, due diligence, title, surveys, financing, leasing, and post-closing follow-up
Excellent drafting, proofreading, formatting, grammar, and organizational skills
Prior experience supporting attorneys in a mid-sized or larger law firm environment
