Job Description:

We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our team in ROCKVILLE, Maryland. As a Legal Assistant, you will be supporting one of our main partners in the law firm. This role is set within the legal industry and offers an exciting opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Manage case files effectively, ensuring accurate documentation and organization
Assist with dictation tasks as required
Support document management including filing, archiving, and retrieving documents as needed
Proofread and edit documents to ensure accuracy and clarity
Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage calendars for the main partners
Use Case Management Software to track and manage cases
Administer claims and handle billing functions as needed
Provide support in Personal Injury Litigation and Personal Injury Law
Leverage your experience in Litigation - Civil and general Litigation Experience

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal assistant/paralegal role
Proficiency in using case management software
Ability to handle billing functions efficiently
Expertise in calendar management
Experience in claim administration
Knowledge of personal injury litigation
Understanding of personal injury law
Familiarity with litigation procedures
Experience in civil litigation
Previous litigation experience required
