We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support a short-term Contract assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. This role focuses on organizing arbitration-related documentation, maintaining accurate digital records, and ensuring files are properly stored and easy to retrieve. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large volumes of documents, follows established procedures carefully, and brings strong accuracy to administrative legal support tasks.
Job Responsibility
Review arbitration-related documents and process them in an organized, timely manner
Download files, rename them according to established naming standards, and store them in the correct employee records
Update and maintain documentation within Workday to support accurate recordkeeping
Create and manage an index that allows documents to be easily referenced and verified
Check files for completeness and accuracy before finalizing entries in the system
Support due diligence efforts by ensuring legal and employee documentation is properly categorized and accessible
Requirements
Experience supporting legal or administrative document processing activities
Working knowledge of arbitration agreements and related documentation
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to organize, rename, and file electronic documents using consistent standards
Familiarity with Workday or a similar document and records management system
Capability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining quality
Strong due diligence and verification skills when reviewing records
