A well-established law firm in Saratoga, CA, is seeking a skilled Legal Assistant for a part-time, contract-to-hire opportunity. This role offers the potential to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate. As a Legal Assistant, you will support attorneys handling estate litigation matters.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate client intake, including communication, documentation, and scheduling
Assist with trial preparation, including drafting, organizing, and reviewing legal documents from start to finish
Collaborate with attorneys to manage case records and deadlines
Maintain and update client and case files using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient workflow
Communicate professionally and promptly with clients, court staff, and legal teams
Requirements:
3–5+ years of direct experience supporting civil or estate litigation
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with proficiency in Word and Excel
Proven track record in client intake and litigation support
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
