Job Description:

Dedicated Legal Assistant to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering a great opportunity for long-term growth within a well-established firm. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, and bring expertise in insurance defense and workers' compensation cases.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the attorney's calendar, ensuring all meetings, deadlines, and appointments are accurately scheduled and updated
Handle e-filing processes for legal documents, ensuring timely submissions to courts and other relevant entities
Prepare, organize, and file court documents with precision and adherence to legal standards
Assist in the preparation and coordination of materials for hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive case information and documentation
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials to facilitate case progress

Requirements:

Proven experience in a legal assistant role, preferably within insurance defense or workers' compensation defense cases
Proficiency in e-filing and court filing procedures
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
Knowledge of calendar management tools and software
Resilience and adaptability to work in a high-demand, detail-oriented environment
