Job Responsibility:
Answer and direct incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy
Draft and prepare legal documents such as complaints, ensuring accuracy and clarity
Create, proofread, and edit correspondence including letters and memos for attorneys
Monitor and respond to pleadings while maintaining proper tracking and organization
Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems for easy access and retrieval
Schedule appointments, manage attorney calendars, and coordinate meetings effectively
Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion
Provide administrative and legal support to assist attorneys in achieving operational efficiency
Prepare and file court documents electronically, ensuring compliance with filing procedures
Assist with civil litigation tasks, including court filings and case preparation
Requirements:
Proven experience as a legal assistant
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
Exceptional organizational abilities and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Detail-oriented approach with a focus on reliability and client service excellence
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal case management software
Knowledge of e-filing procedures and court filing requirements
