Job Description:

A leading Plaintiff Personal Injury firm in Tacoma is looking to add a Legal Assistant to their team. This is a great position for someone who is looking to grow into a Paralegal role in the future! Firm has amazing training and a collegial work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Open claims with insurance carriers
maintain status of various reports requested from third-parties
assist with the preparation of demand letters
verify balances with insurance carriers
prepare case documentation to be provided to case managers and attorneys
assist with the maintenance of case calendar and observe deadlines
assist with other administrative duties as requested

Requirements:

1+ YOE working in a legal setting or a completed Paralegal Certificate
strong organizational skills
customer service skills
ability to work well on a team
