Legal Assistant

• Prepare, file, and manage legal documents, including e-filing and court submissions
• Coordinate and maintain attorneys’ schedules, ensuring all deadlines and appointments are met
• Assist with civil litigation tasks, including drafting correspondence and legal documentation
• Act as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and court personnel to facilitate communication
• Ensure all court filings are accurate and submitted in a timely manner
• Support attorneys with administrative tasks, such as organizing case files and maintaining records
• Monitor and update calendars with key dates, hearings, and deadlines
• Handle scheduling of meetings, hearings, and depositions
• Conduct research to support case preparation and legal proceedings
• Provide general office support to ensure smooth daily operations

• Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary, preferably in civil litigation
• Familiarity with e-filing procedures and court systems
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple schedules and deadlines
• Knowledge of insurance law, particularly no-fault and plaintiff-side cases, is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in calendar management and scheduling tools
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling legal documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
