Job Responsibility
Support attorneys handling commercial and employment litigation matters
Prepare, revise, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
E-file documents in California State and Federal Courts
Maintain attorney calendars and track litigation deadlines
Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and client meetings
Prepare TOAs, TOCs, exhibits, and litigation binders
Manage case files and document organization
Assist with trial preparation and related litigation support
Requirements
7+ years of litigation legal assistant experience
Strong experience with both California State and Federal Court procedures
Advanced e-filing experience in state and federal courts
Experience supporting commercial litigation, employment litigation, or other complex civil litigation matters
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and litigation support software
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
At least 7 years of legal support experience, with substantial hands-on background in civil litigation
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures in both state and federal courts
Demonstrated experience with e-filing, court submissions, and deadline-driven calendaring
Proficiency with legal document production, including advanced Microsoft Word formatting and table of authorities preparation
Familiarity with document management systems such as NetDocuments or similar legal file platforms
Ability to support multiple attorneys at once while staying organized, responsive, and attentive to detail
Strong communication skills and a confident, composed approach when working with attorneys, clients, and court personnel
