Legal Assistant

• Prepare and file legal documents electronically
• Manage calendars and schedules for attorneys
• Draft initial pleadings for petitions and complete mandatory disclosures
• Create and revise estate planning documents such as wills and trusts
• Maintain familiarity with MyCase software
• Conduct research and provide administrative support for family law, probate, and estate cases
• Coordinate and track court filings and deadlines
• Organize and maintain legal records and case files
• Communicate effectively with clients and other legal professionals

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant
• Focus on Family Law, Probate, and Trusts and Estates
• Proficiency in e-filing and electronic court systems
• Strong organizational skills for managing calendars and legal documentation
• Ability to draft legal documents, including pleadings, wills, and trusts
• Familiarity with MyCase or similar legal case management software
• Knowledge of mandatory disclosures and estate planning processes
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and legal professionals
• Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in filings and documentation
