Our client, a corporate legal department, is seeking a Legal Assistant for a short-term contract assignment. This role will support the team with file organization, document management, and general legal administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone detail-oriented who can step in quickly and provide immediate support.
Job Responsibility
Organize and maintain legal files, both electronic and physical
Assist with document management, including filing, scanning, and indexing
Support attorneys and legal staff with day-to-day administrative tasks
Prepare and format basic legal documents and correspondence
Track and manage records to ensure accuracy and compliance
Assist with special projects and miscellaneous administrative duties as needed
Requirements
1–3+ years of legal assistant or administrative experience, preferably in a corporate environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Available to commit to a short-term assignment
