Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Real Estate Legal Assistant to support our dynamic in-house legal team in Clayton, Missouri. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the seamless operation of legal processes related to commercial real estate, corporate contracts, acquisitions, and leasing. This is a hybrid position offering long-term growth opportunities, including mentorship from experienced team members.

Job Responsibility

  • Track and monitor leasing transactions while maintaining detailed status reports
  • Generate, organize, and update internal reports to support legal operations
  • Manage electronic and paper filing systems to ensure proper documentation is accessible
  • Perform administrative tasks such as preparing estoppel certificates and coordinating mailings
  • Facilitate communication and workflows across departments to maintain efficiency
  • Assist with drafting, organizing, and managing commercial lease and contract documentation
  • Support transactions related to acquisitions, dispositions, and corporate real estate processes
  • Prepare correspondence, notices, and legal documentation with a high level of accuracy

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial real estate, corporate transactions, or in-house legal operations
  • Ability to manage high-volume administrative workflows with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or similar cloud-based file storage systems
  • Comfortable using AI tools and technology to support daily tasks
  • Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach
  • Willingness to take on diverse responsibilities and contribute to team success
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in real estate or legal environments
