Job Description

We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Property Litigation team in our Bedford Row office. You will assist the department on litigation and dispute resolution cases, as part of a busy and successful team. Your work will include property management advice; possession proceedings, debt recovery claims and the opportunity to support lawyers on a wide variety of other litigious matters. You will be undertaking chargeable work as a fee earner with a personal time and fee target and non-chargeable work that may include, but is not limited to, preparing reports for clients, providing assistance with marketing activities and undertaking appropriate training.

Requirements

  • Experience within an office environment and previous litigation experience are desirable but not essential
  • You will be expected to be largely self-supporting in regard to typing and administration and you will demonstrate excellent IT and keyboard skills in addition to literacy, numeracy and attention to detail
  • You will manage multiple files to strict deadlines and will require strong organisational and time management skills
