Job Description

We are eager to welcome a Legal Assistant/Paralegal to our trial team located in San Francisco, California. This role is essential within our industry and will involve a variety of tasks related to legal support and administration.

Job Responsibility

  • Assisting in the preparation of court filings, including briefs, declarations, exhibits, and proofs of service
  • Drafting various legal documents such as pleadings and discovery responses
  • Ensuring all legal deadlines and dates are accurately calendared and met
  • Conducting comprehensive legal research and assisting with document review
  • Communicating effectively with clients, court personnel, and vendors
  • Organizing and maintaining both electronic and hard-copy case files
  • Providing crucial support during legal proceedings such as depositions, trials, arbitrations and mediations
  • Managing hearing, deposition, and trial binders for attorneys
  • Utilizing various legal discovery and filing platforms such as Pacer, OneLegal, Relativity, Disco
  • Assisting with additional administrative tasks and special projects as required
  • Editing, proofreading, and formatting legal documents to meet firm and legal style requirements

  • Proficiency in Civil Litigation
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare legal Briefs
  • Proficiency in handling Exhibits
  • Experience in managing Trial Exhibits
  • Proven skills in drafting Pleadings
  • Comprehensive experience in Discovery process
  • Demonstrated expertise in Calendar Management
  • Exceptional skills in Legal Research
