We are currently partnering with a leading national Australian law firm to recruit two Legal Assistants / Legal Secretaries to join their Sydney office. The Opportunity These roles will see you providing high-level administrative and legal support to fee earners across a broad range of practice areas. The firm is open to candidates from all areas of law, including but not limited to: Commercial; Property & Conveyancing; Litigation & Dispute Resolution; Wills & Estates; Family Law; Insurance & General Liability; Employment & Workplace Relations. You will play a key role in the day-to-day management of matters and be a valued member of the broader legal team.
Job Responsibility:
End-to-end file management and document preparation
Drafting and amending legal documents and correspondence
Diary management, scheduling and court bookings
Liaising with clients, counsel, courts and external stakeholders
Billing, time entry and matter administration
General administrative support to partners and lawyers
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident, professional communication style
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
A proactive and team-focused approach
