Job Description:

Our agency is actively seeking experienced and enthusiastic Law Clerks to connect with reputable law firms in the Hamilton area. This is an exciting opportunity to explore potential career advancements and gain access to roles that align with your expertise and ambitions.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents, including letters, agreements, and reports
Provide essential legal administrative support to the firm and its legal professionals
Communicate professionally with clients and other legal entities
Efficiently manage and maintain both physical and electronic filing systems
Contribute to the smooth operation of the office through various administrative tasks

Requirements:

Successful completion of a recognized Legal Assistant program
A minimum of 2 years of practical experience as a Legal Assistant or Clerk
The ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
Exceptional attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities
Proven ability to thrive in a busy work environment and manage a heavy workload
Solid tech-savviness, including a good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel), and other software such as Clio, PCLaw, Time Matters, LEAP Legal Software, CosmoLex, PracticePanther, and Filevine
A proactive approach and the ability to work well with minimal supervision
