Job Description:

A legal administrative assistant role supporting the Bankruptcy Litigation team at a national Am Law firm in Costa Mesa. The role involves eFilings, formatting, calendaring, and billing with exposure to trial preparation tasks.

Job Responsibility:

  • eFilings – up to 10 per week in Bankruptcy court
  • Filing & serving documents
  • Formatting legal documents
  • Calendaring for 4 attorneys with Outlook updates
  • Managing attorney billing and pre-bill approvals

Requirements:

  • Experience in bankruptcy litigation
  • Solid understanding of CA civil codes & procedures (knowing how to file, serve, & format documents)
  • Ability to commute on-site 4-5 days/week
