Robert Half Legal is partnering with a highly respected mid-size law firm in Downtown Seattle to identify a skilled Legal Assistant to support its busy transactional teams, with a focus on land use and real estate. This is an exceptional opportunity for a detail-oriented legal support professional who thrives in a fast-paced practice and values a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Format, edit, compare, proofread, and finalize complex documents and correspondence
  • Conduct conflict checks, prepare engagement letters, and assist with new matter intake
  • Maintain and update client files (physical and electronic) in accordance with firm guidelines
  • Prepare closing binders for transactional matters
  • Manage attorney calendars, including meetings, deadlines, and task tracking
  • Assist with billing processes, including invoice review and monitoring receivables
  • Submit and track attorney expenses
  • register attorneys for CLEs and track completion
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and support general administrative needs
  • Provide additional assistance as needed to support the practice group and attorneys

Requirements

  • Prior substantive experience supporting a transactional practice, ideally in land use or real estate
  • Advanced document production and complex formatting skills
  • Exceptional proofreading accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, communication, and prioritization abilities
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with document management and timekeeping systems
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks independently
