Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our litigation attorney in plaintiff personal injury cases at a leading law firm in downtown Green Bay. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Legal Assistant interested in advancing their legal career in a collaborative, supportive, and established firm environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and process legal correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents
  • maintain accurate electronic logs and filing
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, depositions, conference calls, and mediations
  • Handle daily mail processing
  • Request and track medical records, bills, employment, and tax information, including summarization and follow-up on outstanding items
  • Assist with case expenses, invoices, and check requests
  • Proactively support cases as well as office operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a law office
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Dropbox
  • Experience with Filevine case management software preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize independent tasks
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Positive team player
  • works well under pressure and asks clarifying questions as needed
