A prestigious New York law firm specializing in multi-million dollar commercial real estate transactions is seeking a seasoned Legal Assistant with 7+ years of experience to join their team. This role supports attorneys handling complex deals involving office towers, retail centers, industrial properties, and mixed-use developments.

Job Responsibility

  • Draft, review, and manage legal documents including purchase agreements, leases, financing instruments, and closing binders
  • Lead coordination of due diligence: title and survey review, zoning compliance, and environmental reports
  • Serve as a primary liaison with clients, brokers, lenders, and title companies to ensure seamless closings
  • Maintain transaction timelines, manage calendars, and oversee document checklists
  • File legal documents with relevant agencies and courts

Requirements
