Job Description

Robert Half Legal is supporting a client on a large‑scale AI shepardizing and legal research initiative, and we are seeking detail‑oriented legal professionals to join the team. This project focuses on evaluating and validating AI‑generated legal authority relationships and primary law interpretations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong research skills who enjoy structured, heads-down legal analysis and technology-driven workflows.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct thorough primary law research, including case law and statutory analysis
  • Review and confirm AI-generated legal authority relationships (e.g., overruling, compliance, regulatory changes)
  • Draft clear and concise written explanations summarizing findings
  • Work within structured processes to meet daily and weekly volume expectations
  • Maintain exceptional accuracy and quality control while working independently
  • Utilize legal technology platforms and database-driven tools (AI experience is a plus)

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor or comparable law degree is required
  • At least 1 year of experience working with legal content, legal review, or related editorial tasks
  • Strong understanding of legal principles, terminology, and document interpretation
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools or AI-supported content evaluation is preferred
  • Ability to assess nuanced written material with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication and editing skills in a detail-oriented setting
  • Experience working with law departments, legal teams, or related stakeholders is advantageous
