FOUR PAWS is the global animal welfare organisation for animals under direct human influence, which reveals suffering, rescues animals in need and protects them.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing expert advice and guidance on legal compliance in organisational projects and on specific ad hoc requests
  • Ensuring legal compliance through review of contract drafts and offers and drafting of new contracts
  • Drafting new and updating existing contract templates
  • Supporting internal stakeholders in negotiations with contractual partners regarding legal aspects
  • Managing and/or coordinating the collaboration and communication with law firms
  • Collaborating with authorities and institutions in regard to legal aspects and issues, e.g. managing legal disputes
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to promote legal awareness, e.g. conducting virtual and in-person trainings
  • Safeguarding the organisation’s brand identity and legal rights through IP protection, esp. trademarks

Requirements

  • Education in law or business law
  • First years of experience
  • Excellent English and German skills
  • Experience with Office 365/SharePoint and virtual communication tools (e.g. MS Teams)
  • Reliable and discreet personality with a strong work ethic as well as a structured and well-organised working style
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS' vision and mission
