We are seeking a Legal Advisor to provide timely, solution-oriented legal support across commercial contracting activities within Vodafone Business. This role focuses on drafting, negotiating and managing complex international contracts, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks. The position also contributes to regulatory, product development and strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance and enabling business growth.
Job Responsibility
Provide accurate and timely legal advice on commercial and contractual matters across enterprise business activities
Draft, review and negotiate complex, global, multi-country contracts with multinational organisations
Assess and mitigate contractual risks, proposing balanced and practical solutions
Manage high-complexity contracts with bespoke elements and limited standardisation
Analyse and negotiate non-standard terms for strategic deals and projects
Lead improvements of contracting processes and act as a subject matter expert for end-to-end contracting
Support knowledge sharing, training and capability building within the team
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including regulatory, technology, tax and public policy teams
Prepare contract risk assessments aligned with internal policies and procedures
Provide legal support for product development and strategic initiatives
Maintain and develop contract templates and contracting frameworks
Assess legal implications of regulatory changes and support compliance processes
Participate in regulatory reporting, projects and communication with authorities
Support international legal matters, including coordination with local advisors and stakeholders
Requirements
Demonstrates strong knowledge of commercial and contract law
Typically has 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial or contracting law
Brings experience supporting commercial business activities, ideally in an international environment
Holds a degree in law (professional qualification or bar admission is advantageous)
Shows strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and project management capabilities
Communicates clearly and confidently, with the ability to influence stakeholders
Works collaboratively and contributes effectively within a team environment
Demonstrates reliability, proactivity and attention to detail
Has excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Is comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines
Has strong command of English, both written and spoken
Brings a commercial mindset with a track record of delivering outcomes
