Our client, a successful full-service law firm, is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to support their busy Litigation team. This position is suited to someone who brings sound judgment, strong organizational ability, and a service-focused approach to daily legal support work. The ideal candidate is comfortable working closely with attorneys and colleagues across offices while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and responsiveness in a collaborative environment.
Job Responsibility
Coordinate and manage attorneys' calendars, including scheduling appointments, meetings, court appearances, and travel arrangements
Draft, proofread, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
Support attorneys with case management activities by organizing, maintaining, and updating case files and related documentation
Prepare and process legal documents, including pleadings, motions, e-filings, and correspondence, ensuring compliance with court rules and legal procedures
Maintain both electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring records are organized, up-to-date, and readily accessible
Assist with billing and invoicing functions, including time entry, invoice preparation, and responding to client billing inquiries
Provide administrative support by answering and directing phone calls, welcoming clients and visitors, and managing incoming and outgoing mail
Collaborate with and provide backup support to other legal administrative professionals as needed to ensure seamless office operations
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support attorneys and the overall needs of the firm
Requirements
4 or more years of experience, with a strong focus on litigation support
Bachelor's degree preferred

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet competing deadlines, and maintain exceptional organizational standards in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Proven client service orientation with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and colleagues
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with document formatting and template management tools and document management systems such as NetDocuments preferred
Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain strict confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Adaptable, resourceful, and eager to learn new technologies, processes, and responsibilities in a dynamic legal environment
