Our client is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys and legal teams in a fast-paced, collaborative law firm environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being at the center of a practice, managing priorities, and delivering polished work while partnering closely with attorneys and legal support professionals.
Job Responsibility:
Support multiple attorneys with day-to-day administrative and practice-specific needs
Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents and correspondence with precision
Manage electronic and hard-copy files using the firm’s document management systems
Coordinate workflow, track assignments, and ensure deadlines are met
Handle billing support, including prebills, approvals, and follow-up
Collaborate with other legal support professionals and provide guidance to junior staff as needed
Serve as a trusted point of contact, handling sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a legal or professional services environment
Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with law firm technology (iManage, Aderant, or similar)
Comfortable adapting to new tools, including AI-powered legal technology
Clear, professional communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
