Job Description

We are looking for a Legal Admin to support legal and insurance operations for a complex organization in Forest Grove, Oregon. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone who excels at keeping documentation accurate, coordinating multiple workstreams, and ensuring legal and compliance activities stay on schedule. The role will contribute to contract handling, records oversight, insurance administration, and day-to-day legal support while working closely with internal partners.

Job Responsibility

  • Review incoming agreements, assess their purpose, and direct them to the appropriate team such as Purchasing or legal counsel for next steps
  • Maintain legal files and case-related documentation so records remain complete, organized, and easy to retrieve when needed
  • Track billing and related costs for external legal service providers and help keep expense records current
  • Coordinate follow-ups across legal processes to help approvals, action items, and deadlines progress without unnecessary delays
  • Monitor insurance coverage details, renewal timelines, and compliance obligations to support uninterrupted policy management
  • Work with insurance brokers by compiling and sharing required information for policy evaluations and rate discussions
  • Administer the setup and ongoing maintenance of new and renewed insurance policies, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Provide administrative support across legal and compliance activities while balancing competing priorities in a high-volume environment

Requirements

  • Experience supporting legal, paralegal, or administrative work within a large and multifaceted organization
  • Knowledge of contract review, contract compliance, or contract audit activities
  • Strong records management skills with a high level of accuracy when handling legal and compliance documents
  • Ability to manage several assignments at once while meeting deadlines and maintaining organization
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across departments
  • Familiarity with insurance policy administration, renewals, or related tracking processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for documentation, tracking, and reporting
