We are looking for a skilled Legal Admin/Receptionist to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a possible temp-to-perm opportunity ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in legal administrative tasks. The role involves managing daily office operations and providing vital support to legal professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate and manage legal files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
  • Conduct e-filing and court filings in compliance with legal procedures and deadlines
  • Utilize case management software to track case progress and maintain records
  • Maintain and organize the office calendar, including scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Handle inbound calls and manage a multi-line phone system professionally
  • Perform routine filing and document organization to ensure accessibility
  • Operate photocopying and scanning equipment for document preparation and distribution
  • Ensure proper scanning and archiving of legal documents for future reference

Requirements

  • Proven experience with legal files management and organization
  • Proficiency in e-filing and court filing processes
  • Familiarity with case management software and its functionalities
  • Strong skills in calendar management and scheduling
  • Ability to handle inbound calls and operate multi-line phone systems effectively
  • Attention to detail in filing, photocopying, and scanning tasks
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Previous experience in a legal administrative role is preferred
