Job Responsibility

  • Advising people interested in legacy giving and actively maintaining relationships via telephone calls, letters, e-mails and personal visits
  • Developing a stewardship plan for identified legacy prospects
  • Implementing activities for promoting the idea of charitable legacy giving
  • Organising events and meetings for legacy prospects and invitation management for those events
  • Representing FOUR PAWS Germany at networking and specialist events
  • Maintaining contacts with important external stakeholders and service providers such as testamentary executors and specialised lawyers

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, empathy in dealing with sensitive topics and the ability to communicate these appropriately and appreciatively
  • Cultivated and engaging demeanor
  • Willingness to travel/driving license
  • Confident skills with MS Office
  • Excellent German and good English skills both written and spoken
  • Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS' vision and mission

Nice to have

  • Fundraising Experience is a plus
  • Experience in sales/key account management and inheritance law recommended
