We are seeking a Lecturer to join our team. In this role you will undertake teaching, learning, and curriculum development responsibilities across designated Further and Higher Education programmes. You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality education that promotes academic excellence, student engagement, and positive progression outcomes. You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering effective, inclusive, and engaging teaching sessions across a range of levels. This includes ensuring that curriculum content remains current, relevant, and aligned with awarding body requirements and institutional standards. Job Responsibility
Undertake teaching, learning, and curriculum development responsibilities across designated Further and Higher Education programmes
Contribute to the delivery of high-quality education that promotes academic excellence, student engagement, and positive progression outcomes
Plan, prepare, and deliver effective, inclusive, and engaging teaching sessions across a range of levels
Ensure curriculum content remains current, relevant, and aligned with awarding body requirements and institutional standards
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that enables students to develop academically, professionally, and personally
Designing, developing, and reviewing curriculum materials in line with programme specifications and quality assurance frameworks
Delivering engaging and innovative teaching using a variety of pedagogical approaches to meet diverse learner needs
Assessing student work in accordance with established criteria and providing timely, constructive feedback
Monitoring and tracking student performance, implementing appropriate interventions where necessary
Contributing to quality improvement processes, including course review, standardisation, moderation, and compliance activities
To reflect continuously and improve the quality of teaching and learning within your sessions
Utilising and developing resources to support student achievement
Requirements
Teaching or delivering training experience
Experience of working with young people
Educated to Level 3 or above and/or hold a professional qualification in the relevant subject area, or equivalent. Alternatively, educated to degree level or above in the relevant subject area, or equivalent
Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics, including GCSE grade 4/C or above (or equivalent qualification)
