To lead, manage and deliver an engaging and industry relevant Digital Media curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, student achievement and industry engagement. The role may include some Course Leader duties. The postholder will play a central role in shaping the student experience, developing industry links, supporting recruitment and marketing, and ensuring learners are prepared for progression into higher education and careers within the creative media industries.
Job Responsibility

Course Leader duties involving effective course leadership, supporting and coordinating the course team while ensuring compliance with College policies and awarding body requirements
Requirements
Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Media, Animation or related subject
Teaching qualification at Level 4 (CTLLS or equivalent) or willingness to work towards (fully supported)
Level 2 literacy and numeracy
Up-to-date knowledge of media production processes and relevant software
Understanding of learner support strategies and inclusive practice
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
High level of digital competence
Ability to inspire and motivate young people
Commitment to equality, diversity and safeguarding
Nice to have
Experience leading or coordinating a course team
Industry experience within creative media, animation or digital production
Experience of teaching within Further Education or post-16 provision
Experience of assessment, moderation and awarding body requirements
Experience contributing to self-assessment and quality improvement planning
Experience supporting recruitment and marketing activities
