Job Description

Reporting to the Department chair, the Lecturer of Human Anatomy & Physiology position requires 90% teaching, which includes a combination of Human A&P I & A&P II lecture and laboratory courses each fall and spring. The courses would be a mixture of in-person and online-synchronous. The remaining workload would be allocated to service (10%). The position is a 10-month non-tenure track appointment, and the salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Requirements

  • Earned Master’s degree in Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Kinesiology, Biology or a closely related field by August 1, 2026, with at least 18 graduate semester hours in human anatomy and physiology
  • Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives
  • Commitment to engaging with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development

Nice to have

  • Experience teaching human anatomy and physiology courses in a college or university
  • Potential for online teaching
