Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated individual to the role of Lecturer in Tourism & Hospitality. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding area of the curriculum, which boasts continued learner success and achievement. The successful candidate will support the success, achievement and enjoyment of our learners on our Tourism and Hospitality programmes. The drive to develop curriculum, maintain excellent employer links and provide progression opportunities to our current curriculum offer is a necessity. We are looking for an outstanding staff member to complement and enhance our existing structure and be part of a team that supports colleagues and students, through both onsite and blended learning opportunities.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the success, achievement and enjoyment of learners on Tourism and Hospitality programmes

Requirements

  • Experience of teaching and motivating HE students
  • Relevant industry experience
  • Relevant teaching qualification or equivalent teaching qualification, or be willing to work towards one
  • GCSE Maths and English (A*-C)
  • Well organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
