Job Description:

We are looking for a Lecturer in Illustration and Animation FXT to join our team. This is 35 hours per week, fixed term until June 2026 offering a salary of £31,410 to £43,440 per annum. Job Responsibility:

  • To carry out formal scheduled teaching, tutorials and assessments
  • To include the preparation of learning materials, students’ assignments and to support students in their studies both during scheduled teaching sessions and during periods of self-directed study
  • Marking of students’ work and examinations, internal moderation and verification, as part of the team
  • To work alongside colleagues in the monitoring, reviewing and evaluation of all aspects of the programme
  • Develop evening, community and adult provision
  • To manage and maintain appropriate College records and quality systems to ensure high performance

Requirements:

  • Level 2 English/Literacy
  • Level 2 Maths/Numeracy
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in subject discipline – Animation/Illustration
  • Full recognised teaching qualification
  • Successful teaching experience of post 16 learners
  • Experience of teaching illustration and animation
