Level 2 or above English/literacy qualifications
Level 2 or above Maths/numeracy qualifications
Degree or equivalent qualification in Health or a related area
Recognised full teaching qualification
Have experience of working within education, health or care
Able to evidence successful FE teaching experience of teaching, training or assessing groups of students on Health, Care or Early Years courses

Job Responsibility

Carry out formal scheduled teaching on programmes ranging from level 1 to 5
Undertake a personal tutor and/or programme leader role to groups of students in order to maintain high achievement rates
Prepare delivery plans, sequenced learning plans and learning materials
Mark students’ work and carry out internal quality assurance
Work as part of the team in the monitoring, reviewing and evaluation of all aspects of the programmes
