Job Description:

Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a Lecturer in French for a one year fixed-term position, replacing a colleague on funded research leave. As Lecturer, you will be highly proficient in French with an ability to teach language and modern and contemporary literature and culture (including film) at both BA and MA level. You will be required to convene select modules and conduct administrative tasks associated with the role. Applicants should have a PhD, experience of teaching in higher education and an active programme of research. You will be based in the School of Creative Arts, Culture and Communication, within the Languages and Linguistics Subject Group.
