Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a teacher to join our supportive and experienced ESOL team, with a specific focus on teaching Pre-Entry ESOL. As part of the ESOL team, you will play a vital role in supporting learners at the very start of their learning journey, helping them to develop basic communication, literacy, confidence and independence so they can begin to participate in everyday life and learning in the UK. You will encounter a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures and have a real opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • BA Hons Degree, HND or equivalent in a relevant subject area
  • Level 5 ESOL subject specialism
  • GCSE A* - C/9-4 in Maths and English qualifications or equivalent as a minimum
  • Have experience of teaching ESOL Skills for Life
  • PGCE or equivalent ESOL teaching qualification
