Deliver high-quality teaching to 16-18-year-old learners on full-time study programmes
Plan, deliver and assess GCSE English lessons that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements
Support learners to progress and achieve their English qualification
Create engaging, inclusive learning experiences
Track and report on learner progress
Contribute to curriculum planning and quality assurance activities
Work collaboratively within the English team to support learner attendance, retention and achievement
Ensure compliance with funding and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Strong subject knowledge in English
Experience of teaching GCSE within an FE or secondary setting (or the ability to adapt quickly to FE delivery)
Hold a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one
