Job Description

We are looking for additional inspirational Lecturers to take on exciting new roles within our English department.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and teach on GSCE resit courses and functional skills
  • Contribute to aspirational teaching, learning and assessment
  • Keep accurate records for learners’ progress in College

Requirements

  • Degree
  • Teacher trained (PGCE, DTLLS or CertEd) or working towards
  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Ability to teach another subject would be advantageous
  • Knowledge and understanding of awarding body standards and requirements
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment
  • Experience of working in Further Education
  • Up-to-date occupational experience
  • Enhanced DBS check
