Requirements

Hold a teaching qualification (with English specialism)
Hold a degree or equivalent qualification
Level 3 English and/or maths
Have current teaching or training experience with NEET learners and ability to deliver English to GCSE level

Job Responsibility

To support College attendance, retention and achievement strategies by providing high quality, pro-active teaching and support to learners on discrete NEET provision
To provide teaching and support that contributes to an outstanding student experience from the start of the college journey to progression into further study or employment
To work directly with all curriculum and support staff to ensure learners are fully engaged with all aspects of their study programme, college life and achieving to the best of their ability
To deliver to learners, where applicable, their English and/or maths curriculum including GCSE
