Job Description

To operate effectively as part of a team of academic, technical and administrative colleagues in order to facilitate learning and the advancement of knowledge through teaching, research/publication, consultancy and administration.

Job Responsibility

Carrying out teaching, course co-ordination and curriculum development for all levels from Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Undergraduate Degrees as part of development duties and other activities as required at the undergraduate and, later, postgraduate levels

Requirements

  • Master of Commerce or Arts majoring in Economics or Master's in Economics (FQF Level 9)
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching/work experience
  • OR Research-active: evidence of work published in peer-reviewed journals

Nice to have

  • Ability to write project papers, government policies and research grants
  • Ability to work with colleagues in projects and research papers including macroeconomic research, sectoral advice and development work
  • Demonstrable evidence of quality teaching
