Job Description

We are looking for Lecturer in Early Years to join our team. This is a 21 hours per week, part-time, permanent role offering a salary of £31,410 to £43,440 (pro rata) per annum. Job Responsibility

  • Carry out formal scheduled teaching on programmes ranging from level 1 to 5
  • Undertake a personal tutor and/or programme leader role to groups of students to maintain high achievement rates
  • Prepare schemes of work, session plans and learning materials
  • Mark students’ work and examinations and carry out internal quality assurance

Requirements

  • Level 2 English/Literacy
  • Level 2 Maths/Numeracy
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in early years or a related area
  • Recognised full teaching qualification or be working towards
  • Have experience of working with children age 0-5 years
  • Able to evidence successful experience of teaching, training or assessing groups of students
