Job Responsibility

To deliver high standards of teaching and learning and to monitor assessment processes in accordance with awarding body requirements
To deliver departmental requirements of core and additional programmes including personal development curriculum, enrichment activities and tutor support
To deliver in the FE, HE, T Levels and Adult Learning business area as required by the demands of the curriculum
Producing schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans, learning materials and any other related activities that impact on the effectiveness of learning
To co-ordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments of students' learning carried out by the course team
To communicate external examination entry and timetable arrangements to the course team and students
To work proactively towards the development of new programmes and the improvement of courses within Business, enabling growth and protecting quality of provision
To work pro-actively to forward the success and vision of the department and the College

Requirements

Relevant Degree in Business or a related subject
Teaching Qualification (or willingness to work towards a teacher qualification Level 5)
GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at Grade C or above
Demonstrate e-literacy and competence in using the Microsoft Office Suite including Teams
Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to fulfilling quality assurance requirements of awarding bodies and the College
Demonstrate proven evidence of delivering good to outstanding learning experiences
