Are you passionate about helping students achieve their full potential? Working within the Learning Support Department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with special educational needs. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Maths/English Lecturer to join our team. You will teach both Maths and English at Functional Skills (Entry Level) and GCSE, helping students of all backgrounds and abilities to build confidence and make progress in their studies. You will also provide sessions in life skills such as employability and social confidence, alongside supporting the department with the review cycle of the students. There is also an opportunity to take on assessing for exam access arrangements. The job is varied and fast-paced and needs someone with a can-do attitude who is happy to be flexible to best support our students. You will need to be able to work both independently and as part of a team and to have a high level of professionalism and accuracy for record keeping.
Job Responsibility:
Teach both Maths and English at Functional Skills (Entry Level) and GCSE

Requirements:
Level 2 or above in English and Maths
Experience working with challenging young people
PAPAA (Exam Access Arrangements Assessing) – or willingness to work towards
