Deliver engaging and high-impact GCSE Maths resit lessons to learners who are retaking the qualification

Requirements
Education to level 3 or above and/or a professional qualification in relevant subject area or equivalent
Minimum of level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent
Relevant teacher training / completing within 3 years of employment or 3 years of the first available course
Experience working with disengaged or low-confidence learners
Proven experience teaching GCSE Maths, ideally including resit cohorts
An understanding of issues surrounding maths anxiety and barriers relating to the learning of mathematics
Demonstrable track record of improving learner outcomes and achievement rates
Strong classroom and behaviour management experience in a further education or secondary setting
Experience of using adaptive teaching to meet a wide range of abilities and learning needs
Experience preparing learners for GCSE examinations, including exam techniques and revision strategies
